Replica "Type A-2" leather flight jacket, standardized in 1931 and manufactured until 1943. Regulation Army Air Corps intermediate flying jacket used through WWII. Features an escape map detail, inspired by jackets worn by pilots in the 8th, 9th, 12th, and 15th divisions flying B-17, B-24 bombers, P-38, P-47 and P-51 Fighters in the European theatre. Imported. Untested.
